Two Degrees, One Path
Welcome to the Gateway2NKU Transfer Site
This site is provided for transfer assistance for students working toward the completion of an associate degree designed for transfer from Gateway Community and Technical College who plan to transfer to Northern Kentucky University. The information provided on this web site does not take the place of an advisor or counselor on your campus.
In support of the Gateway2NKU program, the dual enrollment and transfer pathways initiatives promote transfer preparation and success in ensuring that students achieve their goals toward completion of a degree.
GATEWAY2NKU Dual Enrollment Partnership
Gateway2NKU is a dual enrollment partnership between Gateway Community College and Northern Kentucky University. The program is designed for GCTC students who intend to complete an Associate of Arts or Sciences (AA or AS) and then transfer to NKU.
Pathways to Degree Completion
The Pathways (PDC’s) are advising tools designed to help community college students plan for transferring to NKU to complete their baccalaureate degree. The PDC’s also constitute an agreement between community colleges and universities confirming that community college courses meet major preparation requirements.
Who is a transfer student?
